Welcome to The Royal Project
The Royal Project aims to renovate and remodel Eastbourne's Hippodrome theatre building around its magnificent Grade II listed auditorium, and to bring it into use as a fully-equipped community theatre, capable of housing work in a wide variety of theatrical and media forms, and operating all the year round.
The renovated theatre will spearhead the regeneration of Devonshire Ward, acting as a focal point for creative development in media and the performing arts, with day-long programmes to attract all sections of the community.'
